About Tour

After a successful 2016 event, Breakin’ Convention are back alongside local heroes Audio Active, Street Funk, Rounded Rhythm and Tot Rockin’ Beats, to bring a full day of workshops and master-classes in the art of hip-hop culture. Specialising in music production, DJ Skills, breakdancing, lyric writing/emcee-ing and graffiti, we’ll be offering people of all age groups the unique opportunity to learn and develop new skills from the masters of their craft.

We’ll be taking over the whole of The Steyning Centre for the day, and running a full schedule of one hour workshops in each genre. Finishing off the day we’ll be having a mentor showcase, The Get Down, which will be open to all and give everyone a chance to join the cypher and see the masters at work.

Workshop tickets are £5 – £7.50 and include free entry to The Get Down. Get Down tickets alone are £5. Please follow the link to purchase.

Even if you’re not attending a workshop the main hall will be open for the duration (free admittance) with stalls, food and drink and interactive visuals from Geminate II.
